Reloading 7.62 X25 Tokarev

  1. Jul 13, 2018  The 7.62 x25 Tokarev has become my favorite cartridge to shoot as well as to reload. I shoot surplus Romanian, Serbian and Czech TT33 type pistols. Once I found out that I needed to add a 9mm sizing after the 7.62 x 25 sizing die, all problems were.

This data may be outdated as it is from 2005 which is the last data I have. Neither Hodgdon or Accurate Arms lists this cartridge on their web page reloading data manual.

reloading problem with Lee 7.62 Tok dies.Jul 19, 2011 7:26:02 GMT -5

I've reloaded my Tok brass but always with something other than the orignal 85 grain bullet. I finally tried some yesterday and the bullets went into the brass really screwy -- like off-center. I thought maybe I needed to bell the mouth of the cartridge case a bit more but that didn't help. I wound up making my own expander ball for the case since the thing that comes with the Lee FL die didn't seem to be working at all. Has anybody else had this problem with the Lee 7.62X25 Tok die set?

7.62x25 Tokarev Load Data for the CZ-52 Pistol.

Designed to shoot in the 7.62x25 Tokarev. Magic launcher for mac. This is designed for HANDGUNS ONLY. Buyers should be aware the Thompson Contenders chambered for the 32-20 have a bore diameter of.308 NOT.312 as in all other applications.

(If using this load data for TT-33 Type Tokarev Pistols, Start at 15% below the Min. Charge given, and work up Slowly.)

Disclaimer
Reloading metallic cartridges may be extremely hazardous if not done properly. Nothing can replace experience and a good reloading guide from a reputable manufacturer of reloading components. Always reduce all minimum powder charges by 10% and 'work up' a load if no signs of over-pressure are evident (bulged cases, flattened primers, etc.). Loads listed are test loads in the author's firearms, and may not be safe in any other firearms.

All loads developed with New Starline Brass and Winchester Small Pistol Primers.
